Here at Castle Sports we love to get creative when setting up an obstacle course. Below is a list of some of our favorite things to use when creating a course with all of their creative versatility.

Hula Hoops

Incorporating hula hoops into an obstacle course adds a fun and challenging element to the experience. Here are several creative ways to use hula hoops in an obstacle course:

  • Hoop Hurdles: Set up hula hoops at varying heights to create hurdles that participants must jump over as they navigate the course.
  • Hoop Tunnel: Arrange several hula hoops in a row on the ground to create a tunnel that participants must crawl through.
  • Hoop Hopscotch: Lay hula hoops in a hopscotch pattern on the ground, and participants must hop from hoop to hoop without touching the ground in between.
  • Hula Hoop Limbo: Hang hula hoops horizontally at different heights, and participants must limbo under them without touching the hoops or the ground.
  • Hoop Weave: Hang hula hoops vertically from a structure or tree branches at varying heights, and participants must weave in and out of them as they move through the course.
  • Hula Hoop Relay: Place hula hoops at intervals along the course, and participants must pick up a hoop, carry it to the next station, and pass it off to their teammate.
  • Hoop Balance: Lay hula hoops on the ground in a straight line, and participants must walk across them while balancing to avoid stepping out of the hoops.
